Ever experienced that freezing cold shudder of realisation that you are utterly, utterly alone in this world? I have. And it freaked me out. But then it gradually dawned on me that I was not alone. Lonely yes, but not alone.

Being alone must be such a sad experience. So sad. I’d like all the people who are alone to know that they need not be. But pairing up all the lonely people in the world will be a great task. Too huge for me. However, I want them to know that I want to help to make it happen.

But in our quest to succeed we forget that one of our values incorporates the need to engage friends and in certain circumstances, we need to engage strangers too. And you will need to dig deep to find something deep down inside you that will kickstart the realisation that you really are not alone.
